把人和话分开，词组弄清含义，修辞剔除掉，补上隐含的前提，判断句子之间是否是前提-结论的推理关系，考察前提们的可信度和有无犯错，演绎推理关系是否有效，归纳推理关系是否够强和有无犯错。然而学会评判推理只是哲学讨论的必要条件，较量更多靠的是信息差：提供更多的信息来支持自己和反驳对方。毕竟大家争的不是谁的推理本身有多强，而是推理的结论。
This book has only one way to be read: starting right from the first page of the book and dashing straight ahead to the last word of it. It attracts me with pure intellectual essence, unlike those books renowned for their breathtaking plot.

谈论思维谬误的部分很有用，对经常在公共平台论辩的网友应该是一个盾牌：应当避免刻板印象和偏见对思维的影响；避免fallacies based on emotions，比如nationalism这样的groupthink fallacy会导致盲目赞同；避免偷换概念；不赞同一个人的主张时不应该对做出主张的人进行人身攻击；避免从少数样本直接推断“everyone knows”并把这个作为主张的前提，多用或许和可能；尽管事件A发生在事件B之前，两者也会没有关系。
排版有点怪，看完收获也不是很大。
重点看了第二、三、九章，intensive but makes you have a clearer mindset regarding logic thinking. It's always about premise and conclusion.
