这个写作意图和六朝人作史、写类传有共通的地方，通过重新剪裁叙述历史故事，在传记里发展叙事技巧，并通过并置史事产生新的审美内容。两版自序里相关意思说的都很好。至于具体传记，感觉写得一般，方法都比较常见，笔墨也不太放在塑造人物上。是很启发人的一本书。
头两个故事特别好看
要评价博尔赫斯实在有点词穷，叙事的设计和语言的机锋完全是另一个维度……最喜欢man on pink corner以及全书的前言：“I offer her that kernel of myself that I have saved, somehow — the central heart that deals not in words, traffics not with dreams, and is untouched by time, by joy, by adversities. ” （以及对照了下中文版，比英文版漏翻了好多东西……
