真正的宗教性是像男主在Elisha的那个吻里获得的包容吧,而不是书里的宗教的虚伪和压榨性(特别是对于弱势群体比如黑人和女性):Deborah被强奸被认为是有罪的,Florence离开重男轻女只想让她养老的母亲被认为是有罪的(她那个油嘴滑舌觉得自己的俏皮话是调情天天花钱不着家的样子真的过于真实),Esther未婚先孕被认为有罪(而不是把她搞怀孕的Gabriel)…Florence安慰Elizabeth那里说女性要承受的太多那里真的很感动…John的爸爸Gabriel虚伪地认为信教自己就是无罪的…感觉是对于宗教的压迫性和虚伪很好的揭示,特别是在黑人群体里,但是感觉不如《乔凡尼的房间》,感觉是偏向写实了,而不是去写思想什么的

看之前真不知道是宗教色彩如此浓厚的书。。。语言朴素但是心理描写特别翔实,对话更是如同自带语音,总觉得作者对宗教的刻画是很揭露其虚伪的,所以结尾也有点迷。喜欢Florence
