还记得那天坐在国贸二期楼下吃饭,读了又读。在世界上最忙碌的写字楼之一里读桑塔格像是一种无言的抵抗(抵抗什么?)
第一万次捡起这本书,不知道哪天才会看完—看完了两个最想看的essay!剩下的以后怕是未来找reference才会看了🤷🏻‍♀️
用英文读这种书的能力还是不行。大部分电影我都没看过所以比较难读。仅有几篇看懂的还算不错
I feel like Susan’s words elevate my thinking and consciousness to another level because I have that long-lost “oh my god how can my previous assumptions be so naive and crude” feeling again. Added to being intellectually stimulating and nourishing is this book’s good writing style, for which alone it is worth reading

Notes on “Camp”, All Camp objects, and persons, contain a large element of artifice. Nothing in nature can be campy.
