Prof Tony Cai. STAT 430. 例题讲解特别详细，习题难度从易到登天都有。内容特别丰富的一本书
大二下《概率论与随机过程（1）》参考教材，国外的经典教材，即使是英文版读起来也非常流畅舒适，语言简单，例子循序渐进而且非常丰富，非常适合初学者自学使用。希望国内也可以多一些这样的高质量教材。
虽然不喜欢 probability，但是书确实写的不错。
浅显易懂
Create a big picture of probability theory.
初学者建议去读mit的introduction to probability by john tsitsiklis，那本更友好一些；这本书从chapter 4还是5就开始逻辑跳跃明显了，另外习题也很难，感觉此书适合作为补充
我也是第一次发现有能让人读起来兴奋得心怦怦跳的课本
作为a first course（或者通识读本）非常之合格，但私以为一千道习题真的没必要刷，有功夫可以去学学the second course了。
