Reading渣读的好苦
技术自主论的代表作品。极具科幻感的表述，脑洞极大且金句频出。对于技术几乎网罗一切的定义使得整个理论有点不倒翁，但感觉对各技术间的对抗和人类作为群体的能动作用缺乏论证？
读了前两章。技术是指在人类活动的每一个领域中，合理地达到并拥有绝对效率(对于一个特定的发展阶段而言)的方法的总和。现代技术现象的新特征：自动发展（Automatism）、自我增强（Self-augmentation）、一元论（Monism）、普遍主义（Universalism）、自主性（Autonomy）。总体上看，作者过于强调技术的独立型，过于悲观。对我来说并不是很有说服力。但是后续研究者想要提出自己的新理论，绕不过埃吕尔的这个技术社会理论。
对技术反思和一般化地讨论，最终指向技术控制和人类自由。一方面，技术可以有不同的面向，另一方面，自由也绝非是一个一劳永逸就可以定义的状态。
