Harper Lee was born in 1926 in Monroeville, Alabama. She is the author of the acclaimed novels To Kill a Mockingbird and Go Set a Watchman, and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and numerous other literary awards and honors. She died on February 19, 2016.

地铁文学开篇作
说着一些无奈的事情，却透出阵阵温热。愿意读了再读的七星好书。经典总是不朽。
patience..patience..full of kid's slangs and southern dialect, so annoyed so far
Update: truly moved. This is a great book if u could get over the language. U see the purity through the eyes of a innocent kid. I could totally see the friendship btw Lee and Capote, even humor sound alike. Maycomb is probly inspired from Holcomb as well.
太好看了。从儿童视角塑造沉稳正直少言寡语但洞察世事的父亲，不难看出为什么Atticus Finch成为文学作品中经典的律师形象。不打算看后面的Go Set a Watchman毁经典了，电影版倒是一定要看起来。
People die and suffer because of their goodness, but what else can we rely on?
书里的律师父亲仿佛一棵大树，他正直、坚毅、勇敢、专业，让孩子敬佩。其实故事本身不错，就是铺垫太长了。
A story of a moral hero and parenting
刚开始读的时候觉得用孩子视角讲故事真的好别扭，读进去了才发现只有孩子眼里才有最纯粹的善与恶，最简单的好与坏，和最完美的Atticus Finch. 而结尾当这个孩子开始尝试以Boo Radley的视角看这个世界时，短短的一段文字，若干个夏天到秋到冬，再到夏，再到秋，竟然让我泪流满面。这是个既美好又伤感的故事。是时候去重温电影了。
目前读过难度最高的英文书，不过除了开始的地名把我搞死之外都还蛮好读。
再看一遍也还是很喜欢，原来原著里面有这么多方言，看中文版好像没怎么意识到，有些表达还挺有意思的。
