艾伦·布卢姆(1930—1992)，美国思想家、政治哲学家及翻译家，1955年毕业于芝加哥大学，获博士学位。曾任教于耶鲁大学、康奈尔大学、特拉维夫大学、多伦多大学，后回芝加哥大学社会思想委员会任教授。著作有《莎士比亚的政治学》(1981)、《巨人与侏儒》(1990)、《爱与友爱》(1993)等，译著包括卢梭的《爱弥尔》(1979)及柏拉图的《理想国》(1990)等。

因为是内叔叔的课所以看了五遍~
翻譯課參考，原價不是很貴嘛；基本和古希腊語原文對應，和對某些難譯詞的不充分探討。
其实只把里面那个interpretive essay读了四五页而已。不是我的菜。
读的是C.D.C Reeve的版本
又是一个学期过去啦。论文关键词是spirited/spiritedness。“Fine things are hard.”
古希腊哲学论文参考，已经能看出来这本书有成为最好的理想国英语本的潜质，基本上连词序都对上了，但难读也真的难度，部分文段阅读难度胜过一般哲学著作

不知道读的哪个版本，因为prof给的是electronic copy of 柏拉图全集，搞笑
在永恒活火的边沿取暖；洞穴之外，闪电等待着击打静默的树影。
很难读，至今不知道我是怎么读完英文译本的。
