奥斯丁的英文很简单，适合英语初学者阅读。重读，稍嫌shallow。可笑的Mrs.Bennet其实挺有爱的，虽然蠢和庸俗但却真心爱女儿；Lydia是叛逆的角色，但她和她丈夫的“罪”，在现代算不了什么，我觉得也挺有个人特色的。故事本身很平淡，但长处在于1，角色的心境变化，成长性；2，挖掘日常生活的艺术性并组织成故事；3，小丑与正人君子的对比与英式幽默；4，简单明瞭的语言，没有无关描写和抒情，语言有节制。
少一颗星是因为我实在不喜欢这个版本的装订。看久了中间会有条杠。我只有一个想法。那就是我终于读完了。
看过的也是买过的第一本英文小说。读完学会的第一个单词是，elopement。那时我是多么年轻啊。
