这本小说让我在地铁里强忍着眼泪好多次，毕竟人太多不好意思哭。这一次重读让我注意到这本书关于“勇气”的主题。‘There are all kinds of courage. It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends. 像是在另一本短篇故事集里罗琳所强调的：“如果要说这些故事证明了什么，那就是英雄气概能够以各式各样的形式展现。无论是莱姆斯·卢平牺牲性命拯救魔法界，或是西瓦诺斯·凯特尔伯在阁楼上朝食死徒扔弗洛伯毛虫，都属于英雄事迹。毕竟要成为英雄，并不代表一定要像格兰芬多那样挥剑战斗，只要心持正念，人人都可以是英雄。”英雄不死！
读过英文版之后，越发觉得人民文学的中文版翻译做的真好，完全不损伤原书的美感，读原版读翻译基本上是相同的感受。
不知道是不是因为中文版读了几十遍的关系，英文版读起来一点都不困难

对于儿童来说这样的魔幻世界很有新鲜感，不能苛求叙事，英文读起来轻松流畅。
要是多点女性角色，多点鹰院和獾院就好啦～
