In his nobel prize acceptance speech, a.camus said a writer's duty is twofold: "the refusal to lie about what one knows and the resistance against oppression", my 1st holiday re-read of camus' novels 。。
看这本书这段时间自己工作上也是前途一片灰暗，觉得那种绝望的不知道什么时候才有转机的心情真的描写得太准确了。书看完了，自己的命运却还是未知，但至少每天都有做些事情，对医生来说plague is never ending defeat, 生活也是啊，还不是要用力活着。
加缪有一种冷峻的性感，鼠疫结束了，但我们仍在鼠疫之中，尽管努力否认鼠疫，遗忘鼠疫，但我们和这个世界都被鼠疫改变了。

断断续续读了一年多才读完，还得感谢猪流感的蔓延，让我重新翻开它，跟“The Stranger”比起来，这本书实在太枯燥了，一直以为下一章会有点转折，可是翻到最后一页，即便故事情节已经有转折，书里透出的重重麻木情绪还是教人异常困倦。
很沉闷很枯燥。
疫情刚开始的时候，一点点开始啃，没想到现在啃完了疫情还没过去。小说最后一句话如同预言。
读过《局外人》之后再读这一本有点怀疑是否自己理解错误，因为前者写的是独立的个人—他的选择、他的存在方式以及与他人的矛盾；而后者所要传达的显然超出了个人：无论是那些面对绝望时仍然选择为他人努力抗争的人，还是选择记录下这些人的叙述者本身。（另外，在疫情期间读这本书，一切变得更好理解……）
