An instrumental abstraction of my understanding of the Annales School approach of history (of meanings and believes):
a. to socialize and historicize Kant's a priori form of cognition
b: to use this socialized and historicized a priori form to fix Descartes' the mind/body, spiritual/ material dichotomies
c: to explain individual from collective
作者四十多年一直在《年鉴》编委会任职。不同于以往关于年鉴学派的介绍书籍（如Peter Burke和Francois Dosse)，这个真正算得上是圈内人的自我认知，似乎更有权威性吧。
实在是读不懂第六章。对着法文读，也读不通。他到底要表达什么中心观点？
