Feminism is not about self-empowerment, nor is it a lifestyle-it's all about destroying the patriarchal system. Attack the system, not the individual. Entering and succeeding within the system does not cause any harm to the system. Recognize your privilege and align yourself with marginalized groups. Replace romantic relationships with alternatives
什么是女权主义？作者给出了自己的答案，这也是为什么书的标题是why i am not a feminist的原因，作者想跟一般的女权主义者区分开来。这本书对我来讲很有启发性。另外值得注意的一点是书的副标题a feminist manifesto。
如果你停止阅读，就会对某些事情有误解。
有几处很反思
有一些深刻的片段：成为一个feminist(为女性争取权利)的最终目标(结果)究竟是利于一个特定群体，还是利于整个人类群体？如果不是利于一个更大的群体，那么是否就是一种自私的表现？power给予女性力量，但是事实上并非真正女性权利的象征，更可能是self-help、成功学、精英主义(于是，针对更为弱势的女性，她们该怎么办)。（总之女权这条路真是不是表面上喊喊口号。）
说老实话，平权味儿还是有点重，还是想要和男性进行合作这点始终走不出这个桎梏。但是这本书的可贵之处是指出了romantic life是需要被取代的生活方式，女权主义者不要在既定存在的体制内去改造，而是要去创造一个新的生活提供给女性去选择。man is not our problem，但是创造这个新世界在我看来，男性是不被需要的。
一本打拳路上的反思之书。
takeaways：1. Be a feminist, don’t act like a feminist. 女权主义不是消费——购买印着slogan的T恤、购物“爱自己”与女权无关。2. Personal victories are not political victories. 女权主义不仅仅是“self- empowerment”——警惕white feminism的经典话术，因为其仅仅给予女性要么回归家庭（意味着被pity）要么成为人上人（意味着被当作role model）的选择，而后者获得来自男权社会的奖励后使女权运动缩水为个人成功学。3. 永远避免lazy thinking, easy scapegoating, pleasurable anger
I AM angry, and I DO pose a threat. 前半段一直滿足於hardcore feminist的暢快感，越聽也越開始反思自己自稱manhater是一種智識上的懶惰。永遠反思，永遠質疑，永遠抗拒濫下結論的慣性。 Hatred only breeds hatred. Dismantle the system, don’t persecute the individuals. 值得打印出來張貼的點太多了，找到紙質版的話一定寫篇讀書筆記到處發。
这是一本高二暑假在哥大bookstore被封面和书名吸引到的书，很感谢当时的自己没有在对女权一知半解的情况下就盲目读下去（虽然也是因为懒）… 最近再次pick up这本不厚的书，虽然并没有给我提供对feminism很多新鲜的观点和背景，但是也reaffirm了一些我的个人想法和之前学习到的知识。总体来说读下来蛮轻松的，但是缺乏了一些对motivation的分析… 处于三/四星之间吧
