这部作品依然具备了费兰特的作品中的典型意象：女性镜像般的命运、身心破碎的体验、逃离的冲动、母女之间复杂的情感纽带、内心深处的自我厌弃、存在于孩子身上近乎恶毒的天真。莱达倒出了娃娃腹中腐坏的生物和污水，却无法把自己心里对孩子的感情彻底根除，生育是女性被强加的宿命，如果我们拥有了生育自由，是否可以逃离这代代传承的痛苦？
During my reading, I had been thinking why the writer named the book "The Lost Daughter". Until in the last chapter Nina was furious and stabbed her, I figured it out. The lost daughter could be the doll or Nina...I'm impressed with the writer's fluent narration with different time structures mixed, and also her efforts to bond her experiences.
Read in 2021 summer. The lost daughter is also the mother.
